Ingredients

For Sandwich

  • Buns of choice (I love brioche buns)

  • Pickles

  • Iceberg Lettuce

  • Tomato

  • Kimchi Ranch (check hot honey chicken recipe)

For Chicken Dry Brine (optional)

  • 4 chicken thighs skin-on (if bone is not out, cut it out yourself)

  • 3 tsp of MSG

  • 1 tbsp Paprika

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp ground pepper

  • Salt to taste

    For Korean Sauce

  • Half Stick of Butter

  • 1 head of garlic diced

  • 3 tbsp of Gochujang

  • 3 tbsp of Honey

  • 1 tbsp of Brown Sugar

  • 1/4 cup of Soy Sauce

  • 1/4 cup of Mirin (optional)

  • 1/4 cup of Rice vinegar (optional, if you don’t have to add a lil white vinegar or just skip)

    For Buffalo Sauce

  •  2/3 cup of favorite hot sauce

  • Half a stick of Butter

  • 1 tsp MSG

  • 1 tsp of Honey (optional)

    Method

  1. Get your chicken and add all your dry brine ingredients and mix thoroughly. You can let it sit for up till overnight or at least 20 minutes. You also do not have to do this step, it just adds a slight depth of flavor.

  2. Add chicken to the air fryer for 16-20 minutes at 380. But your air fryer might differ.

  3. While the chicken is cooking get a saucepan and make your sauce, Recipe for sauce is down below.

  4. Get chicken and add sauce, and toss them together. Once nicely mixed, eat too many and get a stomach ache.

Method for Sauces

Korean Garlic Sauce

  • While chicken is cooking get a saucepan hot and butter and let it melt. Once melted add the remainder of the ingredients except garlic and whisk till everything is dissolved. Let cook for 3-5 minutes to bubbling and thick. At the last-minute add garlic and cook till fragrant.

Buffalo Sauce

  • While chicken is cooking get a saucepan hot and butter and let it melt. Once melted add the hot sauce and whisk to combine. Once combined add the honey and msg and whisk till dissolved.
